The Ideal Candidate
As the Part TimeCustomer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing the needs of Johnston & Murphy customers and Johnston & Murphy retail locations by using excellent product knowledge and internal processes. The ideal candidate should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to effectively multi-task and manage your work as well as learn new software and applications.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Handle incoming calls to process customer orders driven from catalog and web
- Answer inquiries by phone, e-mail, or chat from customers, retail stores and other departments concerning orders, shipments and returns.
- Meet individual and team customer focused goals
- Provide timely feedback regarding system needs, process improvements, website issues or customer concerns
- Act as an ambassador for the brand ; adheres to an appropriate and effective set of core values.
- Effective communicator within the organization; build lasting and productive relationships with co-workers.
- Make good decisions based on analysis and knowledge; works with a sense of urgency and moves issues to closure.
- Assist with special projects within the organization
Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have
- Prior experience in Customer Service, call center and/or sales related field
- Proficient MS Office Applications
- Follow procedures in place with minimal error
- Use effective interpersonal skills and customer focused attitude to contribute to the success of the team
- Must be able to work various 4 to 6 hour shifts during open hours of 7am to 7pm Monday - Friday. Saturdays may be required.
