Position: Segmentation Specialist
Location: Onsite, 1st Shift (Core Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday)
Description: The Segmentation Specialist plays a crucial role in producing high-quality Pre-Operative Plans, focusing on individual production efforts to meet team and department production targets.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating cases using a proprietary case management system.
- Reviewing CT scans to ensure conformity to Mako Surgical protocol.
- Segmenting CT scans using specialized software to generate 3D Anatomical Bone Models for robotic surgery.
- Generating Pre-Operative Surgical Plans using Digital Bone Models for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.
- Reviewing CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy of anatomical landmark selection, implant sizing, and positioning.
- Uploading completed Pre-Plans to field-based personnel.
- Documenting all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures.
- Following work instructions meticulously to deliver consistent output.
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience or equivalent education (Associate's Degree or above).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in Salesforce or Materialize MIMICS.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Certifications or related experience in Radiology (CT, X-Ray, MRI).
- Certification in Nursing or related field.
- Completion of a college-level anatomy course.
- Demonstrated Customer Service orientation.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Efficient work methods and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
