Department PARKING SERVICES (BA-PARK-IUBLA) Department Information Parking Operations oversees the issuance of parking permits, enforcement of parking regulations and maintenance, and funding of all or new campus parking lots and garages. Parking interacts daily with students, faculty and staff, departments, vendors, visitors, and the community as they conduct activity on the IU Bloomington campus. Great opportunity to work with us! Job Summary Department Specific Responsibilities This is face to face Customer Service position. Assists with processing routine permit inventory audits.
Uses CRM and parking specific vended software for tracking customer parking related information and contacts. General Responsibilities Provides exceptional Customer Service to all users of IU Parking facilities. Completes sale and payment transactions that will involve handling cash, depositing checks and taking credit card payments.
Familiar with and able to accurately disseminate and explain the IU Parking system and policies to end users. Acts as a first line resource of resolving customer parking or citation related problems. Ensures timely and accurate processing of information consistent with university policies.
Updates and maintains basic information into databases. Redirects complex questions and issues to higher-level appointed staff and/or managers. Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all records and documents.
Assists with standard department tasks as needed. Work Hours Monday - Friday Must be ready for customers beginning at 8am and until 5pm with scheduled lunch hour.
