Job Description
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Customer Service Representative to join a leading Company located in the Erie, PA surrounding area.
The CSR will manage all aspects of the Customer accounts assigned. They will answer requests, provide price quotations for aftermarket parts and projects, administer warranty and repair returns, confirm received orders, quote follow-up, and support on-time delivery of parts to assigned Customers. The CSR directly contributes to the success of the division by following up on the status of all activities and supporting different services to ensure that the overall objectives are met. The incumbent is responsible for the overall performance of customer accounts under his/her responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to assigned customer account requests
- Respond to team/colleague accounts as backup when needed
- Leads reporting meetings with management to report on progress, problems, and opportunities
- Provide price quotations for aftermarket parts and projects
- Work with Engineering and Purchasing on problem parts and communicate timeframe to Customer
- Support Customers for order intake into the system
- Verify prices, delivery dates, and shipment methods
- Work with various departments to ensure orders ship per scheduled date and that On Time Delivery is met
- Communicate to their assigned Customers if any issues prevent the order from shipping on time
- Prepare open order reports for key Customers
- Provide credit notes for customers in collaboration with finance and Managers
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree (Or a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service or Equivalent Background)
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
