Missouri Rural Services is an insurance brokerage that provides a complete package insurance policy specifically designed for public entities and nonprofits. This part-time position will work closely with the Administrative Assistant in charge of invoicing/general accounting. This position will be responsible for creating invoices from accepted insurance quotes, cancelling policies for non-renewals and deficient payments and assist with company payables.
What You'll Do:Invoicing:
- Pull files
- Finalize and renew policies
- Mark up quote acceptances with including or declining TRIA, if accepting add to premium.
- Confirm agent, address, and commissions are correct.
- Enter all premiums per line item.
- Create invoice and send over to policy processing to be sent out with the policy to the agent.
Canceling policies:
- Cancel policies within system, include reason for cancellation.
- Break down file
- Send out e-mail to appropriate people & companies letting them know the policy has cancelled and the reason.
Creating and sending out pay plan invoices and monthly Broker Statements via e-mail and USPS monthly.
