Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Company: Floor Coverings International
As a Customer Service Representative at Floor Coverings International, you will play a crucial role as the liaison between our customers and the business. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by providing outstanding service, addressing inquiries, and building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Communication: Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide information about our floor covering products and services.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule appointments for product consultations, measurements, and installations. Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely and convenient appointments.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the floor covering products offered by Floor Coverings International. Provide information and guidance to customers to help them make informed decisions.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns, complaints, or issues promptly and effectively. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Trust Building: Establish and nurture trustful relationships with customers through excellent communication, reliability, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, appointments, and any relevant information in the company's CRM system.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, installation, and other internal teams to streamline processes and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Follow-Up: Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback. Use feedback to identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous service enhancement.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about floor covering products.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Compensation: $18-$20/hr
Hours: 30-35 hours a week, M-F, flexible 10:00-5:00 or 11:00-6:00
