Elon Tile and Stone is seeking a full time Customer Service Representative to join our team. Our Customer Service Representatives have strong service standards, responds to client inquiries promptly and accurately and maintains excellent customer satisfaction.
Some job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Enter customer orders into Shopify.
- Handle phone calls and email inquiries from our clients, vendors and distributors.
- Identify and assess customer needs and respond completely and with accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build strong and sustainable working relationships with our clients via phone and email.
- Provide appropriate resolutions or alternative solutions for customer complaints.
- Advise customers when material arrives in our warehouse awaiting shipment or pick up.
- Provide and maintain the flow of product orders following our order processing cycle (i.e.: order entry, shipping tickets, backlog report and billing).
- Work closely with our outside sales representative team.
- Assist with in-house stock inventory checking and order processing.
- Prepare and research inclusive information for preparation of return authorizations.
- Assist in conveying information on samples and new products to distributors.
- Assist with daily/annual inventory counts as requested.
Our work hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
The qualified candidate will have proven phone Customer Service experience. Demonstrate strong communication and listening skills; effectively build customer relationships and provide a satisfactory encounter. You'll be able to mulit-task and prioritize. Experience utilizing Shopify is preferred but not necessary. Elon Tile provides on-the-job training.
