Registered Nurse (Rn) - Triage & Support

We have an opening for a full-time Triage & SupportRegistered Nurse at our OB/GYN practice in Mullica Hill, NJ.
The person hired will be responsible for the coordination of patient care and an important participant in policy and procedure implementations as they relate to medical services for nursing staff, primarily via the telephone. Other job duties include but are not limited to:

• Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
• Obtains appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care
• Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response. Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year experience working as an RN in a medical facility, OB/GYN setting highly preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT beneficial
• Knowledge of specific lab order sets beneficial
• Previous knowledge or experience with eClinicalWorks (EMR) a plus.
