Licensed Mental Health Therapist

LaunchPad Counseling is seeking to add a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, with options of part-time or full-time. The position allows for clinicians to choose their own hours, though one or two evenings per week might be needed for a full-time position. This position can be a hybrid of in-person and virtual. We provide a supportive environment, with optional monthly clinical consultation and supervision. Experience with either children and teens or couples is preferred. Our therapists are LGBTQ affirming. Clinicians of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Outpatient Therapy with focus on clinical areas of your strength and interest
• Carry a caseload of 15+ (part-time) or 24+(full-time) weekly clients
• Complete clinical documentation including Assessments, Treatment Plans and Progress Notes
• Participate in one monthly virtual all-staff meeting
• Participate in one monthly clinical consultation meeting (optional)

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
• Valid license as a clinical therapist in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFW)

Preferred:

• Experience working with children, especially using Play Therapy and other Expressive techniques
• Experience working with clients form diverse backgrounds including racial and sexual minorities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
