Job Description
We are looking for a dispatch and Customer Service specialist to join an established organization.
Dispatch Customer Service representatives, often known as dispatchers, play a critical role in coordinating and managing the scheduling and dispatching of services or resources to meet customer needs.
*Key Responsibilities:*
-Serve as the main point of contact between customers and the service providers, field teams, or delivery personnel.
-Receive service requests, orders, or work orders from customers via phone, email, or an online system.
-Schedule and assign service appointments, deliveries, or dispatches based on customer requests, available resources, and geographic locations.
-Coordinate and dispatch service personnel, technicians, drivers, or field teams to customers' locations, ensuring they have the necessary information and equipment.
-Plan and optimize routes to minimize travel time, fuel consumption, and operational costs.
-Continuously track the status and location of service providers to provide accurate ETAs to customers.
-Provide information and assistance to customers, answer inquiries, and address concerns or complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
-Manage emergency service requests, such as breakdowns or urgent repairs, and dispatch the appropriate response teams.
-Maintain accurate and organized records of service requests, dispatches, and customer interactions. Generate reports as needed.
-Prioritize service requests based on urgency, customer preferences, or other relevant factors.
-Ensure that services meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Utilize dispatch software, GPS systems, and communication tools to streamline dispatch operations.
