We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative/ Scheduler to join our team. We are a family owned and operated, full-service plumbing and drain cleaning company that diagnoses plumbing problems, installs sinks, faucets, water heaters and performs water, gas and drain line installations. In this role, you will be answering phones, scheduling with customers, filing paperwork/ invoices and data entry, and other tasks as requested. Some experience with plumbing or dispatch is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure. Position will be part-time (24-30 hours per week) and will transition into a full-time position (40 hours).
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls and emails.
- Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and schedule work.
- Use best practices in Customer Service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers.
- Communicate well with all personality types.
- Data entry, filing, and other duties as requested.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred.
- Comfortable using computers and customer management software.
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively.
