Job Description
Control Risks’ Embedded Consulting team is looking for a Crisis Management Specialist to help support a Fortune 500 client. This role will support our Client’s Crisis Management team, conducting planning initiatives, and administrative duties, focused on multiple critical projects within the client’s global structure. The candidate will leverage strategic Crisis Management experience to help our Client develop and enhance their Global Crisis Management program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organize activities supporting crisis and resiliency activities to help improve the Crisis Management plans for several projects within the client’s global programs.
- Drive consistent methodology, approach, and standards for planning, training, and exercising across crisis leadership teams.
- Communicate crisis and resiliency concepts in laymen’s terms.
- Drive expansion of coordinated Crisis Management to additional geographies and business units based on strategic program plans.
- Support program development and execution to further develop and enhance the Crisis Management program globally.
- Liaise with key Global Security partners to maintain and enhance key preparedness tools and capabilities.
- Collaborate successfully with partners across the ecosystem to build program awareness, enhance the user experience, and drive the further improvement of preparedness capabilities.
- Be part of a team to support real-time responses to incidents around the world.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience/management consulting in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of Crisis Management experience.
- Ability to build and enhance complex Crisis Management programs.
- Experience engaging with senior-level internal/external business executives.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Willingness to use in-house tools and ability to learn quickly
- Experience interacting with staff at all levels to develop cooperative working partnerships
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to follow-up
- Autonomy to translate strategic direction into actionable plans

The base salary range for this position in California or NYC is $100,000-$120,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162 and the NYC Wage Transparency Law.
