Job Description
Los Angeles based Commercial Real Estate Development Company seeks a Financial Controller who can assist with everything relating to cash flow, Real Estate Developments, financial planning, and taxation issues.
• Able to create commercial loan packets
• Re-structure company loans
• Prepare all financial statements needed
• Able to handle multiple entities books
• Close accounting books monthly
• Supervise accounting and bookkeeping staff.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance. Master’s degree and a CPA designation is a plus
• Must have QuickBooks expertise.
• Must have Real Estate accounting experience including NNN leases and common area reconciliations knowledge and experience
• Must have Microsoft Office experience including advanced Excel skills
• Able to handle site acquisitions
• Able to handle all financing and property transactions (dealing with brokers, appraisers, escrow companies, banks, private lenders, etc)
• Knowledge and experience handling 1031 and 1033 exchanges, etc
• Interface with our CPA for tax returns preparation
• Ability to create cash projections, proformas, etc
• Financial Planning/strategy
• Entrepreneurial mindset needed
• In-office position only (no remote work)
• Salary based on experience (independent contractor arrangement)
