Angelo State University’s Contracts & Procurement department is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to support the team in Contracts, Inventory, Mail Services, Print Shop, Purchasing and Travel Office. As a Student Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely services that each of these offices offer.
Responsibilities consist of customer service to all; assisting in editing and proofreading websites, policies, emails; assist in development and monthly reporting of KPI data; compiling and reporting contract dates and deliverables to university officials; performing spot audits of tagged assets across campus; using mail service equipment to assist in mail box key issuance, returns, placing packages in parcel lockers; using printing equipment to reproduce original materials; all while providing excellent customer service with effective communication and prompt responses when interacting with students, faculty, staff, supervisor and colleagues.
The Work Study will need to be self-motivated, detail-oriented with excellent communication and customer service skill; duties include but are not limited to Scanning of documents; Answering phones; Basic Cashiering duties.

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
• Must meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office.
• Proficiency in editing, grammar, and punctuation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
