Job Description:
The Donor Relations Team is seeking a detail-minded individual to assist with the planning and implementation of programs to communicate to donors the impact of their gifts, that Baylor is using their gifts as promised, and that Baylor continues to be worthy of their philanthropic investments. Donor Relations specifically supports the mission of Baylor University and the division of University Advancement by providing strategic planning for stewardship goals and objectives, encouraging a culture of philanthropy on campus among the academic units and our donors.
The available position will support the Donor Relations Team by: Managing donor gift inventory through strategic planning, regular oversight, record keeping, and request fulfillment; Auditing and assessing constituent data to ensure accurate and complete records; Assisting with the gift acknowledgment process, through mail prep and record keeping; Executing high-level stewardship projects from start to finish, working as a member of a team, while interfacing with multiple Baylor offices and businesses on and off campus; Assisting with general office needs, such as: project assembly, data entry, making copies, imaging records, and organizational tasks, etc.; Running errands on and off campus; Other duties as assigned
Required Skills: Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team collaboratively on project; Ability to execute tasks out-of-doors, visiting various locations throughout campus; Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail; Ability to manage confidential materials with discretion; Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills; Interest in and appreciation for philanthropy; Experience with Microsoft Office - Teams, Excel, Outlook, and Word
