Content Marketing Specialist

Elsmere is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our content team. The right candidate brings at least two years of marketing experience and is a thoughtful team player passionate about marketing. Our content team plans, creates, deploys, and measures content assets for our college and university clients. As a valuable marketing team member, you will support the tactical execution of various content projects and marketing initiatives across our university partner portfolio. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, creative, flexible, detail-oriented, and brings a design mindset.

Key responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Create engaging and informative content supporting our college and university partners and benefiting prospective and current students. Content examples include website copy, videos, emails, articles, webinar decks, infographics, multimedia, and more.
• Copywriting: Craft compelling and persuasive copy for various content assets tailored for diverse channels. Ensure quality and consistency in brand voice. Make updates to enhance existing website copy to improve conversions.
  • Manage content calendars, deadlines and schedules to ensure timely delivery of Content Marketing deliverables.
• Graphic Design: Use graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator to update existing content assets, such as Program Overviews. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the visual appeal of marketing materials, adhering to brand guidelines and standards.
• Infographics: Create visually stunning interactive and dynamic infographics using WordPress plug-ins.
• Videos: Coordinate video projects with internal and external stakeholders. Includes scheduling video production and coordinating video edits with video editors.
• Marketing Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Senior Content Strategist, marketing team members, and other stakeholders on coordinating project tasks and deliverables.
• Deployment: Complete WordPress website updates and assist with deploying content assets through the web channel and other channels.
• Misc: Assist with webinar scheduling and other tasks and initiatives as needed.

Additional Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in content creation and marketing
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and grammar
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and quality mindset
• Time management skills
• Organizational skills and coordination skills
• Open to learning and growing!
• Video production and/or video editing skills are a plus!
• Adobe Photoshop skills are a plus!

This is not a remote job! Must be located in Denver Metro Area.

Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000
