Purpose
Schneider Electric Services is one of our fastest growing segments and is supported by an expert staff of professional engineers who are experts in power system consulting & design. The Engineering Services team provides in-depth power systems analysis, design, and project management in order to ensure that our customers' power systems operate safely, reliably, sustainably, and economically.
This position will assist with the management of the backlog to include order entry, purchasing, expediting, invoicing, collections, reporting, and other administrative duties as needed. The CCSC should possess good organizational, analytical, time management, communication, and problem resolution skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Enter and process new orders, change orders, and maintenance orders.
- Manage change requests for job assignments, forecast dates, and line-item breakouts.
- Create and receive purchase orders for various material and services required, including safety equipment, hardware, subcontractors, etc.
- Generate invoices for purchasers and deliver invoices according to instructions outlined in purchase orders.
- Assist Accounts Receivable with collection of past due invoices.
- Create and distribute various reports to check compliance of established processes.
- Assist with onboarding of new Consulting employees.
- Field and respond to various questions covering a wide range of topics.
- Other administrative duties as needed (expediting, labor transfers, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Knowledge of basic accounting or financial principles and methods
- Professional experience in Customer Service
- 2-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work effectively within multiple computer-based systems including SAP, Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
