Barrett Tree Services East is a TCIA-accredited premiere tree care company based in Medford, MA providing safe and professional tree care services throughout Greater Boston. Client Relations Representative – Logistics Coordinator
Full-time position (M-F: 10am-6pm) with unlimited opportunity for advancement/learning potential. Storm damage on call coverage is required – this may include evening and Saturday phone coverage. This position often requires overtime during the spring/summer/fall time to accommodate increased demand. Position is hourly based with overtime availability.
Applicants must love working with clients and have a passion for customer service, hard work, problem solving, and strong attention to detail. The ability to make sound decisions is key in this role. Enjoying trees and the work surrounding them is a plus. Duties perform will include but are not limited to:
- Manage inbound/outbound calls and managing email
- Identify applicable sales leads and in particular client’s needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build trust with client accounts through open and interactive communication
- Coordinate with various municipalities & crews to obtain work permits and proper signage
- Run end of day check payment reports
- Processing client payments (via phone & paper checks)
- Handle records of client interactions, process client accounts and filing of documents
- Book client appointments and confirm Arborists and Production Crew site visits
- Provide backup assistance for data entry team
- Ad hoc projects as they come up
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience within an office setting
- Team player mentality
- Demonstrate effective time management
- Ability to think outside the box
- Strong & pleasant phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Deadline driven
- Familiarity with CRM systems & Microsoft Office (including Outlook)
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
- Ability to prioritize and efficiently facilitate process flow
- Data entry skills from both paper and electronic notes
