As a Construction Coordinator, you are responsible for assisting in the organization and coordination of overhead and underground utility construction projects. You will also manage the work quality and project deliverables throughout a project. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
NOTE: this Construction Coordinator role is not an office job. There is a physical component to it that will require getting dirty and sweating.
In addition, you will:
- Keep accurate, detailed, and up to date “As Built” drawings as work is completed.
- Manage project deliverables to include photo verification of construction process, engineer’s signoffs, field change requests, and production validations.
- Work closely with the tracking team to provide real-time productivity data for accurate tracking of all work.
- Responsible to complete all work in a timely manner and prior to assigned deadlines under minimal direct supervision.
- Must complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analyzes program requirements in the areas of scheduling and milestone tracking.
- Utilizes project tracking methodologies to ensure program success and efficiency.
- Performs critical path analyses and shares findings with internal coordinates and leadership.
- Performs impact studies and modeling to ensure field operations are equipped with adequate resources to manage the program into the future.
- Prepares presentations depicting the status of the program for higher management and for meetings with the customer.
- Develop and maintain customer relations and business partnerships with client and vendor base.
- Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all key projects, including significant milestones, project financial indicators, and conditions/risks which could negatively impact project cost, scope, and/or schedule;
- Promotes project management excellence.
- Provide weekly project status reports to management and project team members.
- Ensure adherence to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards.
- Interface with the client to resolve any issues/concerns that could affect the success of the program.
- Ensure work is being done in compliance with company and industry safety standards.

- Possess a four-year degree in construction science, engineering, analytics, or other related major.
- You have strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
- You demonstrated skills in oral and written communications.
- You have strong people skills.
- High commitment to achieving goals and plans.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Access, and PowerPoint; Advanced in Excel
