Job Description
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work under the supervision of the HR Director and play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s online presence and visual identity. Your primary responsibility will be to craft engaging graphics, develop compelling web content, and contribute to successful marketing campaigns. Your creativity, attention to detail, and technical skills will be essential in elevating our brand.
Responsibilities
Graphic Design and Visual Content:
Collaborate with the sales team to design and produce visually compelling marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional items.
Develop captivating graphics that align with brand guidelines and enhance marketing initiatives.
Create and edit images for both digital and print materials.
Web Content Management:
Assist in the creation and upkeep of website content, encompassing product/service updates, branch webpages, and graphic design maintenance.
Optimize web content for improved search engine visibility, focusing on SEO best practices.
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of web content across all platforms.
Social Media Management:
Manage and maintain our social media presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
Craft and schedule engaging posts and campaigns aimed at bolstering brand awareness and engagement.
Monitor social media analytics and provide insights for refining content strategies.
Content Creation:
Write and edit marketing copy, covering web content and email campaigns.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to generate technical content relevant to the roofing industry.
Proofread content for accuracy and consistency.
Email Marketing:
Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, encompassing the creation of email templates and coordination of distributions.
Monitor email campaign performance and analyze data to optimize future efforts.
Employee Newsletter Creation:
Collaborate with the HR team to prepare and distribute a monthly employee newsletter.
Design content, collecting written materials and combining images into a cohesive and visually appealing company-specific newsletter.
Event Support:
Collaborate on the amplification of event announcements company-wide.
Design event-related materials, such as invitations, banners, posters, and promotional items.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Team up with cross-functional departments, including sales, production, and administration, to ensure that marketing activities align with organizational goals and objectives.
Offer creative support as required by various departments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field (preferred).
Demonstrated experience in graphic design and web content development, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing design and content samples.
Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Familiarity with web content management systems such as WordPress and basic HTML/CSS.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Competence with email marketing platforms and social media management tools.
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, enabling the meeting of deadlines.
Team player attitude is a must.
Experience in the roofing or construction industry (preferred, but not mandatory).
