Construction Bookkeeper

We're hiring a data-driven Construction Bookkeeper for an integral position on our team. You’ll keep our general ledger up-to-date, ensure the accuracy of our financial information, and use QuickBooks for tracking. Candidates should be experienced problem-solvers, well-organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficient.

$30,000 - $40,000 yearly

• Make sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficiently
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements
• Consistently input daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process
• Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
• Bookkeeping: Enter data, maintain records and produce financial reports

• Full time position

• Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, management accountant, or similar position

• QB Online Experience Required
• Must know how to break up construction projects by class
• Experience as a new Construction Bookkeeper is heavily preferred
