Bookkeeper

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and be proficient in QuickBooks.

Duties:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks
- Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with 10-key typing and data entry
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Strong organizational and time management skills
