Description: Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Schools, this candidate will have responsibilities which include providing the major administrative secretarial support for the Educational Services Department which includes Curriculum and Staff Development and to the Assistant Superintendent, as well as assist with the effective and efficient operation of the Educational Services Department.
Job Summary: 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year
Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or the equivalent; an acceptable score on a pre-employment skill test may be required
• Three years of related experience or two years of college and two years of related successful experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of and demonstrated skill in use of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to speak and comprehend sufficiently to give and receive information in face-to-face and telephone contact
• Sufficient manual and physical dexterity to complete Administrative Assistant tasks

Preferred qualifications: Experience in a multicultural working environment
