Amazon is seeking an experienced Compliance Program Manager with a proven track record of performance to be part of a Denied Party Screening (DPS) compliance team. We are looking for an individual who can provide sanctions guidance and manage projects across all Amazon businesses to drive centralized, low-friction solutions for managing risk, allowing them to focus on their core business.
In this role, you will assist in the continued and further development, implementation and enhancement of the Sanctions Compliance Program ("SCP") for all jurisdictions where Amazon operates. You will support and work with the compliance investigation team, management, internal businesses and legal on risk mitigation, and screening and controls systems. You will serve as a SME regarding sanctions and risk compliance. You will partner with Amazon businesses to ensure and track the effectiveness of the Program to comply with the various U.S. and international sanctions rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert in the investigation process supporting DPS.
- Guide management in the development/review of applicable policies, procedures, and business practices based on a detailed understanding of sanctions regulations.
- Provide expertise on compliance requirements and risks to consider when onboarding a new business to Amazon's DPS program.
- Ensure that best practices specific to sanctions regulations are shared across teams.
This role can be based in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA corporate office locations.
