The primary job of the Communications Manager is to communicate the company strategy to key audiences, and one of the most important, is that of the company’s team members. Internal Communications connects team members to the company’s mission, vision and goals using the voice of a shared company culture.
The Internal Communications Manager will play a critical role in implementing the strategy and execution of all internal communications to ensure employees rally around our vision and are engaged in the company’s key priorities.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the team to ensure that the information disseminated has substance, purpose, and moves the engagement and information needle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Chief People Officer to establish a clear understanding of our employee brand to help disseminate core messages, including creating and maintaining the employee brand.
- Draft compelling messaging for use in internal communications and support materials, including corporate initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of annual, quarterly, and project-based internal communications framework with clear objectives, a consistent cadence, and creative ways of connecting with the field
- Coordinate and consult with internal departments on communications projects and to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Help to identify the best way to tell our stories through various media sources.
- Support communications strategies that demonstrate Mammoth’s commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and safe environment.
- Assist with the production of monthly town halls, special events, video messages, and related communications.
- Work with the Director of Marketing to leverage social media and other digital platforms to market Mammoth and our people.
- The candidate will also support/assist the HR team to produce internal messaging
Skill Set:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Writing, English, Public Relations, or related field
- 2-4 years of Communications experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. The Internal Communications Manager may be called upon to present and/or host Town Halls or other events
- A “Make-it-Happen” mentality - You’re a proactive, passionate, and collaborative worker.
- This role needs someone who is detail-oriented and works well under pressure
- An out-of-the-box thinker with a variety of ideas on how to support engagement “family” spirit.
