Job Title: Private Club Communications and Special Events Manager

Job Summary:
The Private Club Communications and Special Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all communications and Special Events within the private club. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the club's reputation, engaging members, and ensuring exceptional experiences through effective communication and well-executed events.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications: Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for the club.
Manage the club's website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns to engage members and promote club events and offerings.
Create and distribute newsletters, promotional materials, and other communication collateral.
Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels.
Gather and analyze member feedback to improve communication strategies.
Event Planning and Execution:Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of Special Events, including but not limited to member socials, holiday parties, themed dinners, and fundraising events.
Collaborate with club staff and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of events.
Develop event budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage expenses effectively.
Oversee event logistics, including setup, catering, entertainment, and decor.
Create event marketing materials and promotions to attract attendees.
Member Engagement:Foster strong relationships with club members and ensure their needs and preferences are considered in event planning.
Seek opportunities to enhance the member experience through events and communication.
Solicit member feedback and incorporate suggestions for improving club events and communications.
Budget Management:Develop and manage budgets for communications and events.
Monitor expenses and seek cost-effective solutions.
Report on financial performance and make recommendations for cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a private club or hospitality setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Budget management and financial reporting skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
