Sunset House Recovery Center is accepting resumes for the position of Client Services Specialist (CSS). This a great opportunity to join an established and trusted company. The CSS role is a hybrid position including functions of a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and a Case Manager whereby the CSS works within the community fostering an exceptional client experience.
Our Expectations of the CSS may include:
- Support the clinical team by assisting to help the clients achieve the guideposts of our proven phase approach.
- Observation and reporting.
- Crisis Intervention.
- Maintain the principles of our high level of care.
- Safety and Security
- Ensure the cleanliness and care of residences
- Enforce program rules and expectations.
- Conduct tasks as assigned to your shift.
- Communicate and collaborate with the team.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Assist in client intake procedures.
- Address problems in the client community through verbal de-escalation techniques.
- Coordination of community programs and events.
- Coordinate and advocate for the delivery of a range of services to meet clients mental health
- and substance abuse treatment goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social services, and external agencies to ensure
- continuity of care.
- Provide support and guidance to clients in accessing community resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation, adhering to confidentiality
- standards.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among the treatment team to ensure a cohesive
- and person-centered approach to client care.
- In coordination with the client's primary therapist, assist in the evaluation of the client's progress toward
- treatment goals, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client care and treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, demonstrating empathy and effective
- problem-solving skills.
- Conduct workshops and groups as requested.
- Conduct group and individual activities.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Background screen for level 2 eligibility.
- Driver's license with a good driving record.
- CPR certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
- Weekend availability.
- 4 years of sobriety.
- Completion or in school currently to obtain a degree in psychology, counseling, or related field preferred.
Full-time and part-time positions considered. Contract employee arrangements are considered for specialized services.
