Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinary Client Services Representative (CSR) to join the team at our private successful clinic. Are you a passionate animal lover with a desire to provide exceptional customer service? Responsibilities
As a Client Service Representative, it is the general responsibility to schedule appointments, answer the telephone, prepare medical records, and create and update client and or patient accounts.
- CSR will greet clients with poise and genuine effort.
- Also provide the correct forms for patients being admitted, obtain and organize workflow with schedules.
- Our Client Service Representative will be in charge of acquiring medical and legal information that is necessary to allow for recommended procedures to be performed on the pet.
- CSR will answer clients inquiries about consults and specialty procedures.
- CSR accurately handles payment transactions.
- CSR accurately and empathetically communicate estimates or specialist's instructions to clients.
- CSR will keep the front desk a positive area even in the event there is a client wait time.
- CSR will bond with clients during interactions.
- CSR will work to maintain an effective specialist appointment schedule and update the team with schedule changes.
- CSR will answer the telephones and handle calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system.
- CSR will enter and update client and patient information into practice computer software.
- CSR will display tact and respect with team members even when busy or hectic.
- CSR will maintain positive, cooperative relationships with team members.
- CSR will conduct themselves in a confident and professional manner with clients even when situations are stressful and/or focused on individual tasks.
- CSR will outline costs and fees in a positive tone while supporting hospital payment policies.
- CSR will maintain a professional/welcoming appearance of the exam rooms and lobby through cleaning and organization.
Qualifications
- Previous Client Services experience of 2 years or more.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
- Patience and a love for animals
- Upper-level computer skills and shows accuracy in inputting details.
