Financial Benefit Services (FBS), a Higginbothampartner,hasan immediate opening for a Client Service Representative in Frisco, TX.The primary functions of a Client Service Representative are to coordinate workflow with Account Executive for clients and to establish depth in the client relationship. A self-starter who shows motivation, confidence, ambition, resilience, embraces challenges, sets goals, sets higher expectations, focused on successfully outcomes, promotes teamwork, promotes and shares best practices, willingness to help others. Must have experience and/or exceed expectations for promotion for a period for proven success record. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan work and accomplish department goals. Minimal supervision necessary. Has experience with mentorship and decision making.The essential functions include but are not limited to the following: Coordinate management of client accounts with Account ExecutivePrepare group meeting and enrollment materials for clientConduct group meetings and employee enrollments, as needed, and assist with new hire enrollments throughout the yearProvide training to client on technology enhancements, online enrollment system and benefit plansEffect changes in coverage as needed by client in THEbenefitsHUBTroubleshoot and resolve issues (claims, eligibility, etc) with third party vendors on behalf of client and their employeesMaintain quick, clear and professional communication with client, carriers and team members via email/Internet/voiceAssist with Life Insurance updates in THEbenefitsHUB including approving, denying, and closing coverage and notifying client timely of payroll changesAssist in billing processes including resolution of billing discrepancies in coordination with Account Executive and client, and possibly working as a Billing Coordinator for the clientMust have thorough understanding of billing and payroll processes including ability to assist with payroll updates after annual open enrollmentsMust have excellent understanding of client payroll filesConduct periodic COBRA audit and resolution of COBRA discrepanciesCommunicates COBRA rate renewals annuallyCompletes regular audits of client data in THEbenefitsHUB including non-standard and unique audits (IMNS, post enrollment audits, eligibility audits, demographic audits, etc.)Assist with reviewing and correcting carrier, medical/TRS, and ADI discrepancies regularlyMust have an excellent understanding of the benefit offerings and carriers affiliated with Financial Benefit ServicesGood understanding of implementation processes of reenrollment preparation including assisting with Plan Sheet audits, Coop Standardization, and participation of BORs, Broker Signoffs, Renewal Meetings, etc.Thorough understanding of continuation of coverage processesThorough understanding of FMLA and LOA processes and guidelinesThis may include processing payroll corrections that resulted from a change of benefits due to leave of absenceMust maintain client sites, FTP sites and client SharePoint foldersAssist with life insurance, disability and other claims including troubleshooting with carrier with appealed claim decisionsPerform other duties as needed or requiredQualifications Needed: High School DiplomaGroup 1 Insurance LicenseAt least 3-5 years' experience in customer serviceAbility to travel as neededExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional conduct and appearance which enhances company imageMust have exceptional computer and customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointAdvanced experience necessaryExcellent planning, organizational and time management skillsIndividual should prioritize and plan work activities efficientlyAbility to effectively meet and communicate with the publicSelf-managed and motivated to ensure the high standards set forth within the Company are metSelf-starterLocation:This person will be working onsite at Frisco-ISD 5 days a weekTraining will take place in Richardson officePerks & Benefits:Generous employee benefits package which includes a robust wellness programEmployee Ownership OpportunitiesCareer progression opportunity - the potential for growth within the company
