Position Purpose
The Client Partnership Specialist provides exceptional support for the BDI Client Partnership team. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Client Partnership, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for BDI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong agency knowledge of agency services, systems, and processes
- Works with SVP, Client Partnership to cultivate existing sales pipeline and development of new business opportunities
- Conducts thorough market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscape
- Identifies and engages potential clients through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, and industry conferences
- Effectively sets up prospect accounts, prospect/contact activities, and enters new business project information using agency tools (such as Microsoft Dynamics and in Workfront)
- Maintains accurate prospect data in CRM (HubSpot)
- Participates in the creative and tactical process for the development of new business projects, proposals, and presentations
- Work closely with the SVP, Client Partnership to develop compelling and customized proposals and presentations for potential clients
- Collaborates with the SVP, Client Partnership to establish and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring proposals align with prospect needs and showcase BDI’s capabilities
- Navigates and performs assigned projects within the company’s e-Tools (project management systems and creative proofing programs/applications)
- Serves as a support contact for issues or activities that a prospect may encounter. Works and interfaces with various internal departments as needed
- Keeps team and supervisor informed of project status and needs. Adheres to project deadlines
- Supports the SVP, Client Partnership with material prep as requested
- Initiates follow-up and preparation of materials following tele-conferences and prospect visits. Works with the SVP, Client Partnership to draft and distribute conference reports as requested
- Coordinates and performs Client Partnership administrative tasks related to prospects
- Prepares, coordinates, and mails prospect mailings
- Prepares conference reports, and follows up on action items
- Pursues continual learning in the direct response/fundraising and digital marketing space
- Manages special projects or other assignments as required
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Must demonstrate careful attention to detail, good grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills; Must be able to listen diligently, take copious notes and read between the lines at times
- Reasoning Skills: Must demonstrate ability to define problems, collect data, interpret, and understand data and analyses, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be extremely efficient, organized, process-oriented, resourceful
- Computer Skills: Must demonstrate proficiency in the use and knowledge of integrated computer systems and business-related software such as Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Workfront, and Dynamics and quickly learn, understand, and seamlessly implement the operation of the agency’s e-Tools
- Excel Skills: The Client Partnership Specialist must be able to pass both the intermediate and advanced Excel assessment - demonstrating proficient formula use, an understanding of the questions data can answer, and the ability to read data within a spreadsheet. In addition, to handling the formulas, the Client Partnership Specialist should also know how to debug them, work-around them, use shortcuts, customize, audit them, and use the formulas appropriately to pursue the answers the team is requiring
- Decision Making and Problem Solving: Must demonstrate strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative, focus, and prioritize tasks
- Attention to Detail: Must pay close attention to detail and demonstrate excellent follow-through; Must be meticulous and highly attentive
- Must be punctual, flexible, and able to function well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Educational Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or another related field
- Minimum of 2 years of advertising agency/marketing and communications experience is required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
