School Age Child Care Provider - After School Program

AlphaBEST Explorations happen when our Explorers (students) have Guides (Group Leaders) who are dedicated to fun and learning! Are you ready to join the fun? Let's put more wonder in the world!

Locations: Revere Public School

Schedule: Monday-Friday mornings and afternoons from 2:15pm - 5:45pm

MUST HAVES:

• High School Diploma
• 6 months of formal experience
• 18 years of age or older

As an AlphaBEST Guide, you'll be trained and have the chance to do the following:

• Plan and facilitate core programming to advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
• Work collaboratively with peers to share program-related information and complete adventurous tasks that ignite a child's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on the student's interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.

Here's what you'll need:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the Massachusett's Department of Early Education and Care's Background Check program

Proof of experience through ONE of the following options is required:

• 9 months of experience with school-Age Children including 3 months of supervised experience at a school-Age Child Care program or;
• HS diploma or equivalent and 6 months of experience working with school-Age Children including 3 months of supervised experience at a school-age program
