The Digital & Data Business Planning Department is tasked with navigating the strategy and execution for Honda's future digital services. The team will focus on building and sustaining Honda's core brand values and enhancing brand image and competitiveness in the marketplace by developing new businesses, features, products, and services in the digital domain with responsibility for their customer value, competitiveness, and profitability for Honda in North America.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Business Development Connectivity Specialist who will be responsible for business aspects of vehicle connectivity. This individual has a deep understanding of the mobile network operators (MNO) business. They will be business owner and responsible for planning business strategies for vehicle mobile data plans, over-the-air updates, and telematics control units to deliver delightful customer experiences and corporate initiatives. - Analyze KPIs related to profitability and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Understand customer needs and preferences in the context of vehicle connectivity.
- Design and implement features that enhance customer experiences.
- Continuously gather feedback and iterate on connectivity solutions to meet customer expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally with a major in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in a Business Development, strategic partnerships, product marketing consulting, or engineering role.
- 6+ years of experience at an MNO or mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in a B2B role.
- 3+ years in connected car and/or Internet of Things (IoT).
