The Part-Time Circulation Desk Assistant reports directly to the Director of Learning Resources and Library Services. The individual filling this position plays a positive role in helping the College and LRC carry out its mission.
- Greet customers at the Circulation Desk.
- Answer directional, informational, and circulation questions.
- Answer phone calls.
- Assist patrons with circulation-related duties.
- Assist patrons with printers and other technology.
- Communicate effectively with patrons, coworkers, and Learning Resources Center staff.
- Assist with maintaining stacks and shelving in the library.
- Assist with processing new materials.
- Open and/or close the building as scheduled.
- Assist with various projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to learn new software programs

Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week
Location: Niceville Campus
