We are looking for highly motivated and honest individuals to apply for the position of Office Manager for Pelock Chiropractic. The Pelock Chiropractic Office Manager will be responsible for seamless operation of the office including but not limited to managing the office schedule, communication with patients regarding finances, insurance coverage, billing, and scheduling, insurance billing of all Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurances, entering and collecting both insurance and patient payments and entering appropriate insurance write-offs, keeping a clean facility, communication with the doctor to ensure smooth patient transitions, recording new patient information, keeping patient medical records, maintaining HIPAA compliance, resolving any insurance payment errors, determining patients’ chiropractic benefits through communication with the appropriate insurance company, and reviewing medical histories and new patient paperwork for completion and any concerns.
The duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Answering all office calls and texts
- Checking patients in and out
- Maintaining busy but efficient schedule, including new and existing patients
- Documenting all essential information obtained from phone calls and texts that is relevant information for the doctor
- Entering all visits into software with appropriate billing codes
- Entering new and existing claim information when appropriate
- Insurance verification for certain commercial insurances
- Calling insurance companies whenever necessary to verify insurance coverage and chiropractic benefits, writing down all insurance information or printing out coverage information to keep in patient’s file
- Ensuring that patient health history and new patient paperwork is filled out completely at new patient appointment
- Discussing insurance coverage with all patients, including when patients change policies, plans, or companies
- Using non-patient hours to call on insurances to determine coverage or lapse in payments
- Providing necessary paperwork to patients identifying as personal injury or worker’s compensation patients
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times
- Bringing a positive attitude and energy to the practice every day
- Managing and making note of office supplies
- Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with all patients

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
No experience necessary but preferred
Hours would be:
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:45am-12:15pm and 1:45pm-6:15pm
Tuesday 11:45am-5:15pm
