Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
-Make phone calls to patients and insurance companies
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using medical records system
- Collect patient information and update medical records accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Assist chiropractor with patient examinations and treatments as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment rooms
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a similar role not required but referred
- Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information
- We are a family practice so comfortable with babies/children
Hours Mon-Thurs 7:30-6:30 with an hour lunch. 2 day a week or 4 day a week shifts available for the right person!
