Chief Technology Officer

To achieve our ambitious goals, we are seeking a visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO)/Co Founder with exceptional skills in team building, AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Data Science, and Computer Science.

This is an active founding member position. No base salary. Base salary is deferred until post-seed funding, replaced by founding member equity.

Remote work is optional but must be willing to commit to regular team meetings and tasks.

Founding member equity (up to 15%) in a pioneering company transforming healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of Guide Health's technology strategy, focusing on leveraging AI, LLMs, and Data Science to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative technology solutions that optimize patient outcomes.
• Drive the technical aspects of our initiatives, requiring expertise in chatbot development, data privacy and security, telemedicine technologies, and integration with health devices.
• Ensure the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable technology systems that align with our business goals and healthcare delivery models.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and patient-centricity within the technology team.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to leverage these advancements to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
• Oversee the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, with a proven track record in AI, LLMs, Data Science, and Computer Science.
• Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, infrastructure management, cybersecurity best practices, and healthcare regulations.
• Deep understanding of NLP techniques such as sentiment analysis, entity recognition, intent classification, and language generation models.
• Proficiency in ML algorithms like supervised learning (classification, regression), unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and model deployment.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and neural network architectures (RNNs, Transformers, CNNs).
• Expertise in dialog management systems, conversational AI platforms (Dialogflow, Rasa), and chatbot development best practices.
• Skilled in data engineering, including data pipelines, ETL processes, distributed data processing (Spark, Hadoop), and cloud data warehousing.
• Proficiency in API design, integration with third-party services, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable deployment, serverless architectures, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with big data technologies, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and real-time data streaming platforms.
• Experience in developing and consuming healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and ensuring regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing technology teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.

• Are you proficient in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and GDPR, as well as implementing robust data management practices such as data pipelines, ETL, and cloud data?
• Can you design a scalable and secure microservices architecture, utilizing APIs, containerization, and cloud computing for seamless technology integration?
• Do you have expertise in leveraging big data technologies, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and real-time data streaming to analyze user data and generate personalized recommendations?
