Job Description
The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is responsible for the overall management of Alamo Trust, Inc.s (ATI) technology infrastructure and information systems.DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing a digital strategy aligned with the ATI's goals and objectives. Oversight of development and implementation of technology roadmap.Budgeting and Financial Management: Managing the IT budget, forecasting future IT needs, and ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Information Security: Overseeing the ATI's cybersecurity measures, including threat analysis, risk assessment, and the implementation of security protocols.Project Management: Leading and coordinating technology projects, ensuring successful execution and timely completion. Work with Alamo Plan design team to ensure that all IT systems are future-ready for the projected increase in employees and visitors to the site.Team Management: Supervising the IT team, assigning tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment.Vendor Management: Evaluating and selecting technology vendors or service providers and managing relationships.Staff Training: Oversee training of all IT and audiovisual staff, including cross-training. Develop and encourage staff growth through current and new industry technology learning opportunities.Technology Assessment and Implementation: Assessing ATI's technology needs and implementing appropriate solutions that align with business requirements.
IT Governance: Defining and enforcing policies and procedures related to technology use, data governance, and compliance.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with other executives and departments to understand their technology requirements and expectations, and effectively communicating IT-related updates and initiatives.Continuous Learning: Staying up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure that the organization remains innovative and competitive.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven leader with experience in developing and implementing organizational IT strategies.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional knowledge of the latest technology of IT systems and infrastructure.
Background in developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.Excellent understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree desired in computer science, or relevant field; masters degree or MBA preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT and a minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role. $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 Annually
