Chief Technology Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced technology leader (CIO/CTO) to set the technical vision for their digital product suite and field operations as they continue their journey to enhance technical capability both internally and externally to our clients. This a global professional services company with operations in 28 countries.

Reports to the CEO and oversees all technology functions, including business system operations, cybersecurity protection, product development oversight, and technology operations oversight.

Will work with internal business units and line-of-business leaders to assess and anticipate current and future technology requirements and will keep abreast of emerging digital and business trends to adjust IT strategy accordingly.

Responsible for evaluating and evolving product and business-systems platforms to support the introduction of new technologies that enable our subscription business strategy and digital transformation.

Will lead major transformation initiatives within IT, determine technology strategy, and oversee the management of the IT budget process, costs, and resources.

Responsible for developing the next generation of IT leaders who build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to move the business towards digitally enabled growth. This role supports remote work arrangements; however, most business is conducted on an eastern US time zone schedule, and occasional meetings at headquarters are expected.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience driving rapid technical and organizational changes required to support transition to a subscription business model in a high-growth environment.
• IT management at a senior level, with at least 5 years of experience working with executive-level business partners.
• Managing customer-facing product technology as well as business systems technology.
• Experience driving the development of business automation to support global operations.
• Experience with technology in the leadership development and assessment markets or related fields
• Strong business acumen; understands the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals, especially in a subscription-based business model environment.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing, business intelligence and analytics, Agile and DevOps methodologies
