Purpose:
The Executive Education Chief Operations Officer leads the global activities and operations of the Executive Education department. Administrative and program delivery activities include the oversight of program delivery/coordination, purchasing, contract and vendor management, materials sourcing and deployment, budgeting, accounting, payables including faculty compensation, HR, information technology/systems, and customer service. You will work alongside several different departments (Marketing, Business Development/Client Management, both custom and open enrollment portfolio functions). You will serve as a key part of the Executive Education Leadership Team and the Executive Committee. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Education Officer.

Responsibilities*
- Direct development and execution of goals, policies, and priorities for assigned areas, overseeing policy administration.
- Converts strategic objectives, landscape analysis, SWOT, and risks into an annual work plan, guiding resource allocation, budgeting, and performance assessments.
- Coordinate and communicate EE-wide processes, including budgeting, product review, pricing, and strategic planning.
- Assess service delivery methods and staffing levels for efficiency; recommend improvements.
- Evaluate growth opportunities.
- Ensure global operations align with EE's goals, overseeing daily activities.
- Analyze and enhance operational processes to boost productivity and revenue.
- Ensure effective program delivery, fostering collaboration, customer satisfaction, and budget adherence.
- Establish organization-wide documentation, SOPs, and knowledge tools for streamlined operations and employee onboarding.
- Lead negotiations with vendors, including Aramark, and oversee agreements for program materials, venues, food services, accommodations, and other necessities.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including systems, finance, materials & graphics, customer service, and administrative support for sales.
- Direct the Program Delivery team, including Team Leader, Program Managers, and Assistants, establishing work plans, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality.
- Serve as a functional supervisor for University & Ross School of Business Shared Services support to EE.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of experience preferably in a corporate learning or Executive Education environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Client relationship development with executives and leaders in large global firms.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and practices.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Prior managerial and team leadership responsibility.
- Prior fiscal management responsibility.
Additional Information
Salary Information: The general salary range for this position is $117,000 - $130,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process.
