Job description

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence? We are currently seeking a dedicated and visionary Chief Operating Officer to play a pivotal role in our mission to provide top-notch services to our diverse clientele. As a key member of our leadership team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality services while upholding the dignity, respect, and confidentiality of our clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the President/CEO and the executive leadership team to maintain and enhance programs catering to various populations, including mental health, veterans, homeless individuals, and those struggling with substance abuse.
  • Implement and maintain best practices and a culture of excellence within the organization, fostering professional development and a positive work environment.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and process improvements to enhance service delivery, in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, funders, and stakeholders, advocating for the needs of our clients and the field of behavioral healthcare at local, state, and national levels
    *The aforementioned duties are not all-inclusive. Job duties may change as required by needs of the agency. As a supervisor you will assume the responsibility of assuring that all employees working under your direct supervision understand their role in accomplishing the strategic goals and performance measures of the Agency.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of senior management experience, ideally in healthcare, nonprofit, or social services.
  • A demonstrated track record of successful leadership, strategic planning, and operational management.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of the addiction recovery field and related services is a plus
