LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Chief Operations Officer for a reputable non-profit medical facility dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of individuals through compassionate care, innovative programs, and community outreach initiatives.
The COO will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical facility, driving organizational growth and efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and services.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction in the development and implementation of organizational goals, policies, and initiatives to support the mission and vision of the non-profit medical facility.
Oversee and optimize the operational performance of clinical and administrative departments, including but not limited to patient care, facilities management, finance, human resources, information technology, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with the executive team, board of directors, and key stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and performance metrics to achieve organizational objectives.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of department heads and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in healthcare management, quality, and safety.
Drive initiatives to enhance patient experience, satisfaction, and outcomes through effective clinical operations, patient-centered care, and quality improvement programs.
Manage financial resources, budgets, revenue generation, and cost control measures to achieve financial sustainability and support growth initiatives.
Foster partnerships and collaborations with healthcare providers, community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to expand services, improve access to care, and address community health needs.
Represent the organization in external forums, conferences, and meetings to promote awareness, advocacy, and support for the mission and programs of the medical facility.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or board of directors, and contribute to strategic decision-making and organizational development efforts.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field; Doctorate degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management, with a proven track record of success in operations, strategic planning, and organizational development.
Strong knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, reimbursement systems, and quality improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and team building.
Experience working in a non-profit or community-based healthcare organization is preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare finance, budgeting, revenue cycle management, and grant funding is desirable.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, healthcare informatics, and technology integration in healthcare delivery is a plus.
Active participation in professional organizations, continuing education, and professional development activities is encouraged.
Pay Details: $135,000.00 to $190,000.00 per year
