Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our dynamic team in Simi Valley. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational aspects of our facility, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to drive the overall success and growth of the dual diagnosis treatment facility.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with JCAHO (Joint Commission) standards and licensing requirements, with specific expertise in Jacho licensing.
- Technology Proficiency: Possess proficiency in utilizing KIPU, an electronic health record system commonly used in behavioral health settings.
- Client Care: Oversee and enhance client care services, ensuring that the facility maintains the highest quality of care for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Build and maintain effective collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgetary considerations, resource allocation, and financial performance to ensure the facility's sustainability and growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: PhD in a relevant field, with a strong emphasis on mental health or healthcare administration; Master's degree will be considered.
- Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within a dual diagnosis treatment facility, with a strong background in compliance and client care.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in using KIPU or similar electronic health record systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
