- Established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center, the organization provides care to approximately 15,000 patients through 5 locations in Los Angles with an operating budget of $20M
- Services include Primary Care, Dental, Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Chiropractic, Optometry, Acupuncture, Substance Use Disorder, Lab Services, Covid-19 Vaccines and Testing, Rapid HIV Testing, HIV Care and Treatment, Transportation, and After-Hours Care
- Centrally located in Los Angles
- The organization is a Joint Commission accredited Primary Care Medical Home as well as a “deemed” health center with respect to health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals

- Opportunity to receive excellent coaching and mentorship as the “right-hand” to the CEO. You’ll have a seat at the executive table along with six other executives. The CEO values relationships and is not a micromanager. You’ll be provided with the coaching, tools, and resources to be successful
- Organization has a solid IT infrastructure and is well established on their EHR (eClinicalWorks) which they implemented in 2011. A Strong CIO will be an asset to the COO
- Play a key role in strategic initiatives including rolling out 340b pharmacy, service line development, and other operational initiatives such as improving patient wait times and optimization of workflows and processes with the goal of providing the best care possible to those who need it the most

Background Profile
- Prior healthcare experience is required
- Experience working for an organization that provides care to underserved patient populations is beneficial
- Preference for multi-location operations experience at manager or director level (such as Director of Operations, Senior Clinic Manager, etc.)
- Knowledge and expertise in patient services, call center, referrals, and medical records will prove valuable in leading a team of 40 direct/indirect reports
- Bachelors/Masters is valued, but the organization will consider relevant experience in lieu of degrees
- Highly collaborative with the ability to earn trust and garner buy-in and support from subordinates and executive leadership
- Humble and approachable attitude, a team player
- Ability to provide hands-on training and coaching to staff at all levels of the organization
