OPPORTUNITY
The Bahnsen Group (TBG) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Leadership Team in Newport Beach, CA. As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Department Directors and driving operational excellence across our entire organization. Your strategic insights and leadership will be instrumental in contributing to our future success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly oversee TBG's Directors. Provide support to drive initiatives, improve work processes, maintain accountability, and develop personnel.
- Member of TBG's Leadership Team led by Managing Partner, David Bahnsen. Report to Leadership Team regularly on Departmental performance and company projects.
- Leader of TBG's Management Committee, compromising of your Director reports plus the Leadership Team.
- Support Managing Partner with projects and drive the execution of annual company objectives, including but not limited to business intelligence, P&L efficiencies, new office development, M&A, hiring, etc.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork on cross-departmental projects.
- Go to person for company-wide projects and problem-solving.
- Provide forward-thinking ideas on how to improve business operations and departmental performance.
- Perpetuate TBG cultural values as an in-office leader in Newport Beach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience (experience with an RIA is not a prerequisite)
- 5+ years experience with leading teams/departments/organizations
- Ability to work autonomously and is a self-starter, capable of driving results independently
- Ability to be team-oriented and work collaboratively with other leaders and Directors
- A strategic thinker capable of aligning operations with organizational goals
- High attention to detail and high standards for accuracy and responsiveness
