SalaryPOSITION OBJECTIVE
Reporting to the President & CEO, the CFO will oversee the company’s financial affairs, providing direction and control over financial procedures, strategies, and investments. The CFO will act as an Advisor and Business Partner to the President and will serve as an advisor to management on desirable operational adjustments as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of financial data and financial trends in order to assist the CEO & President and other senior executives
- Oversee the accounting team, development, planning and best practices
- Serve as an advisor in reviewing contracts, NDA’s and other like documents the company may enter into
- Lead and develop current and future team members of the finance department
- Act as ERP Champion in partnership with IT on Microsoft Dynamics implementation
- Optimize current financial processes
- Provide strategic financial input and evaluation of business model and future market and growth strategies
- Evaluate 3rd party interfaces for technology and efficiencies overall
- Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the team
- Collaborate with external tax consultants on current and future tax strategies
- Provide acquisition modeling and analysis
- Own process of insurance review, selection, and negotiations
- Work with Human Resources on long term objectives in relation to variable compensation plans
- Complete the analysis of major capital plans including acquisition
- Provide strategic and analytical analysis on succession planning
- Senior Leadership team member, interacting with CEO
- Ability to build, engage and foster a dynamic team within the finance department
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of experience within a financial role, including time within a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience as a CFO within a midsize organization
- A Masters degree in Accounting or Finance, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience required
- CPA license
