Community bank seeks community-minded, Commercial Lender.

Community banking with a great reputation that is searching for self-motivated candidates with 5-10 years commercial lending experience to join their team. The Commercial Loan Officer will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting Bank product/services while maintaining good relationships with current clients, past clients and referral partners.

Commercial Loan Officer RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Commercial Loan Officer evaluates needs of potential clients and offer appropriate financial products, services, and loans
• Promote and cross-sell other products and services as appropriate to client requirements
• Provide ongoing relationship servicing with current clients to maintain goodwill and gain additional business
• Meet with prospective borrowers, review and analyze credit and financial information, determine borrower financing objectives and goals, present appropriate products, programs and disclosures as required
• Prepare and compile client information to open new accounts
• Gather and analyze financial data to assist in determining the credit worthiness of potential clients for risk and underwriting purposes
• Prepare loan memos and documents to submit for loan approval
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of loan documentation
• Oversee timely closing and funding of loans
• Inform and advise clients of status or enhancements to current account productivity and suggest resolution on account disputes and other account activity

Commercial Loan Officer QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or financial services preferred, but not required
• CRE and C&I lending background
• Experience working directly with customers at all levels, from support staff to business owners and managers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to prepare/coordinate proposals, review proposals for accuracy and work productively through the underwriting process
• Experience working independently and is self-motivated
• Ability to stay organized and multi-task
