United Community Health Center-Maria Auxiliadora, Inc. (UCHC) is a non-profit organization located in Pima County, Arizona. UCHC offers primary care medical services to patients of all ages, behavioral health services,and pediatric dental care through approximately 59,000 clinical encounters annually, with a focus on uninsured and underinsured patients. UCHC employs 150 employees, with 30 providers at 12 clinical sites across approximately 600 square miles.
United Community Health Center - Maria Auxiliadora, Inc. (UCHC), a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) organization based in Green Valley, AZ, is seeking to fill the full-time, salaried position of Chief Executive Officer.
The CEO works under the policy-making and strategic direction of the Board of Directors, providing monthly reports for oversight purposes.
Provides leadership, direction, and administration of clinical services that is accessible, comprehensive, innovative, compassionate, and culturally sensitive in an atmosphere of trust and respect.
Responsible for employing qualified personnel and providing needed training.
Ensures quality/sound clinical operations.
Ensures the organization complies with Board Policies and all Federal, State and local regulations and requirements.
Ensures that UCHC functions in accordance with funding source requirements.
Responsible for preparation of annual budgets and grant applications for funding from the Department of Health and Human Services and others.
Responsible for monthly reporting of clinical services, finances and budgetary management.
All other tasks assigned, or such requirements of the organization as needed.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Public Health or an equivalent field with two years administrative/management experience in the healthcare system; OR a bachelor’s degree in like field and five years of experience in progressively more responsible managerial positions in the field of healthcare.
Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in financial budgeting and managing resources.
Experience in developing strategies and implementing vision.
Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Proven skills in planning and implementing policies for health care delivery, personnel, quality assurance, credit and collection, and internal control procedures.
