Blue Sea has an immediate need for Mental Health Clinicians whom also have experience/knowledge in the field of special education, psychology, social work and/or other related human service fields. We are currently providing in-district and in-home services in over 70+ School Districts in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Long Island). Blue Sea is able to offer competitive compensation rates and flexibility in choosing your caseload with Part-time and Full-time cases available.
Responsibilities include:
- Train and support parents/caregiver on assigned caseload
- Develop and implement interventions that teach new skills and/or reduce interfering behaviors.
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the intervention, with modification made as necessary to maintain and/or increase both the effectiveness and the efficiency of the intervention.
- Utilize evidence-based, safe & appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with all treatment team members including outside professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Establish the schedule and/or hours of work in compliance with a student’s individualized education plan (IEP).
- Provide services according to the authorization/mandate.
- Develop and submit quarterly and annual progress reports as per the timeline set forth per Local Educational Agency (LEA).
- Maintain student/family confidentiality and dignity.
- Ensure that all student data is filed/stored properly.
- Attend relevant meetings, such as CSE or IEP Meetings, as needed.

· At least 1 year of experience providing Mental Health Services and/or ABA Therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (Preferred)
