Cell And Molecular Biology Analyst

Prime Analytical Laboratories, LLC (PAL) is a fast-growing contract research and testing laboratory located in Concord, California. PAL provides analytical chemistry, cell-based assay, Molecular Biology, and microbiology testing services for cosmetics, nutraceuticals, medical devices, BioPharma, and food companies. We are seeking a full-time Cell and Molecular Biology Analyst to perform chemical analyses and develop cell-based assays and biochemical methods for our clients.  We are looking for a person willing to work hard, with great attention to detail, great analytical chemistry knowledge, and experience, and a multitasker.  Experience in a GMP lab environment is a plus.

Duties include:

1. Develop cell-based assays, QPCR, endotoxin, and biochemical assays for client projects utilizing QPCR, TC equipment, western blot equipment, plate reader, and techniques.

2. Implement TC, QPCR, and biochemical assays based on USP monographs and FDA regulations.

4. Perform routine testing of samples cell-based assays, endotoxin, QPCR and biochemical assays

5. Perform testing of large molecule samples utilizing testing techniques such as SDS-Page, A280, Western blots, chromatography, and other techniques.

6. Prepare protocols, SOP's and reports.

7. Compliance with applicable GLP, GMP, and safety practices.

Education requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Cell Biology, or Biochemistry with not less than 5 years of hands-on QPCR and cell culture experience.  Must have experience operating QPCR, plate readers, and other TC and biochemistry experience.   Experience developing and validating TC, QPCR, and biochemical assays and implementation of USP assays.
