Kymanox is hiring a full-time contract Lab technician to support one of our very well-known and established clients starting end of January through the end of the year. This Lab Technician will be supporting their scientific team in a lightspeed project to develop and verify cutting-edge diagnostic tests that will expand access to healthcare for millions of patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform experiments in accordance with established protocols
Perform data analysis and some troubleshooting
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
Prepare and maintain laboratory records
Work with other members of the development team to execute verification and validation experiments.
Communicate effectively with all team members
Follow all safety procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry)
Familiarity with Molecular Biology techniques
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Thrive when working independently and as part of a team
Good understanding and compliance with principles of GDP
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a laboratory setting
Experience working within a quality system
Experience following rigorous safety protocols
Demonstrated work ethic
Experience in handling biospecimens in a molecular diagnostic setting
